Gets the name of a main desktop window.

Syntax

GetWindowText ( window )

Parameters

Window is the handle or name of a window.

Return value

When called on a main desktop window, returns the name of the specified window. The return type is window name.

Remarks

Calls the operating system function GetWindowText.

Examples

   var handle;
   var name;
   handle = GetWindowHandle ( "World of" );
   name = GetWindowText ( handle );
   print ( name );
}
