So how does your vb app know the status of the setvar?

Are you sending your app a keystroke when you execute the setvar?

This sounds good.......

Code: Select all
<Command KeyModeGreen>
   <SetVar N52 G> //Just to let HKN know KeyMode is Green for further use
   <TargetForegroundWin>
      <SetWinRegion 961 1180 20 20> //This opens up the 20 pixel window (in the bottom FuBar, FYI) to display the KeyMode app below
   <TargetWin KeyMode>  //This is the KeyMode app I created
      <SetWinPos 822 1146>  //Slides the KeyMode app window left or right to align the green dot within WoW's WinRegion

Freddie, I am so glad you suggested a direction towards C#! Visual C# Express is available as a free download and there are quite a few free video tutorials on the site to get one started. I got in an 1100 calorie burn this morning while watching the first few. :D

Clever......

I thought you had written an app that would receive a keystroke and then the app could decide to switch a set of pixels on.......

I might give that approach a try
